Young and Jackson comes to life on the last Saturday of September when supporters from all around Australia come to celebrate before and after the game. With entertainment from 6pm until late.
It is one huge day of live action and excitement.
Before our young men left for war many of them shared their last drink at Young and Jackson. For many a drink with Chloe would remain a lasting memory throughout the wars and for the years that followed. ‘I’ll meet you at Y&Js’ was the quip made as friends parted ways and still today, friends and colleagues meet in front of Chloe for a drink to remember the past and those they have lost. This is why on ANZAC day, Young and Jackson plays such a major role as many gather to reflect, to commemorate and to remember.
Lest we forget.
