You can enjoy some of Australia's finest and freshest beers at Y&J's, along with a fine selection of international brands.

Beer and Young and Jackson's have a long and proud association - the hotel was the first pub to sell Foster's and generations of Melburnians have toasted health, wealth, farewells and safe returns with a few glasses or more of Melbourne's favourite amber ales and the hotel's barroom queen, Chloe.

Beer has been a favourite refreshment of Australians for 150 years and it is now being enjoyed in a variety of styles with meals.

Young and Jackson's aims to showcase Australia's great beer, food and wine with an emphasis on draught beer and returning theatre to the service of beer. "There you go, a pot of draught" will not be the cry at Y&J's - for the interested there will be tastings, seasonal craft brews to sample and a great range of specialty and mainstream beers.

The pub also has its own beer, Young and Jackson's Naked Ale, a brew not for the faint hearted and certainly an individual.
